Wow. what a sad story. terrible, really. I once saw a poor elephant kept chained to a heavy post on a hot parking lot in summer. It was a small (we're talking microscopic) carnival in a very small town. The authorities knew nothing and would not help.

Dear Ann, I hate how the world treats wild animals...have they no heart? Animals deserve to be free just as people do..

Oh my god - that makes me sick. What kind of people would do that. I hate people who overpower animals, children, etc. who can not have a choice in the matter. What messed-up-lives-of-human-beings. I hope it is a happy ending. Sickening.
