Happy Birthday Daddy.
my father..who loved me unconditionally, who showed me by example, what it meant to be a loving, caring and thoughtful person. I never heard him say a mean thing about anyone. He was the shining example of  what a husband , and father should be. Every man I met had to "meet" the bar he set. He was a Southern Gentleman to the core;his family was his life.
My mom always said " if you asked your father for a star in the sky,he would look for the tallest ladder to reach it".
Well, Daddy..i wish there was a ladder tall enough to reach Heaven. I miss you..but I don't grieve...it is I who was left behind. you have Mom and Jan with you. You are where your heart went, the day Mom died. Happy Birthday Daddy!! Thank you for always believing in me,loving me and letting me make mistakes and being there to help "fix"them!!. I always felt loved, secure and safe. You were, and always will be,my hero.

It took me all day to be able to write this post. My father was quite simply the best. I was his daughter from the moment the adoption agency told him they had twin girls available. I can't remember a time that he ever raised his voice to me. He taught by example. I'm sure he was no saint..but in my eyes he was!!
I was blessed to be his daughter.
Until I take my last breath..i will forever be thankful that I was his daughter.

I know what it is to have a man choose you as his daughter and it is such a remarkable gift. A man such as this is so loving, has to be deeper and more soulful than the ordinary man. A man who wants to be a father to go to such lengths to be one. Well, that is a real guardian for us on this earth and no doubt these bonds can not be severed by mortal passing. He is with you still and waits for you along with your mother. His spirit guides you, truly. Hugs, Lisa

Dearest Ann,
What a sweet tribute to your father♡♡♡
Tears were in my eyes from the story of the ladder; how sweet and I wish I had one to see my mom and brother.
Your parents look GORGEOUS and warmhearted. How great you had such wonderful parents to have a role model and respect.

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to Calf-sis, xoxo Miyako*
