It is New Years Eve...

December 31,1954
My paternal Grandmother and my Mother holding my twin sister and I the day they got us ..along with the social worker Miss Finnegan(who,by the way, attended my wedding!!)
Mom and Dad..I continue the yearly celebration, even though you and Jan are no longer here.I love you and am proud to be your daughter. Thank you for giving me the gift of your love.
To my birth mother, wherever you are..thank you. I have tried to find you since both my parents died...to thank you in person. I wanted to know you,the person you were. My Mother always said "you weren't born from my body, but from my heart". We are forever together in our hearts!
I was adopted..and also a gave up a child for adoption. I am in the unique position of knowing how both feels.

To all of you..I wish you a New Year filled with happiness, good health and prosperity.
Thank you for taking the time to visit me here...I treasure all the friends I have made..and I look forward to visiting with you in the New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL !!

A touching life you've had. It seems that you have been blessed to have had wonderful parents who raised you well. Not everyone gets that chance.
Sending you my best for the new year upon us, my friend. May it be filled with love and peace.
xoxo
Jan

What a wonderful word your mother left for you; I am SO moved and it shows her great humanity. Hope I can express my feeling better in English (^^;)

Ann what a wonderful thing to share. What a blessing you have been to your family and an inspiration to me! I have 2 adopted siblings I have never thought of them as anything other than my brother and sister. There are 6 children in our family and the 2 adopted children added to the other 4 of us rounded out our family and allowed us to share and receive love from those who came into our lives. I too thank the Mother who had to let them go for they have blessed our lives forever! My daughter Tammra gave up a sweet little boy for adoption a short 4 years ago in February. It was the kindest thing she could have ever done and also the hardest. It was at a time when she was left with 2 other children to take care of and a cheating husband who left her alone with no job and no way to take care of him. She is the daughter who has the son with Autism. She went through LDS adoption services as was able to choose the family that has Malachi. They were unable to have children and have been the best parents he could ever have. They keep in touch with my daughter although she hasn't seen him in person nor did she hold him after delivery she knows it will be to hard for her. The people he is with are giving him a wonderful life and regularly send pictures of him to her to share with the family. I have such respect for Mother's who have the courage and love to let a little one go and great admiration and love for the families who care for them. I know we will once again all meet in heaven and we will be part of a bigger family filled with love!
XOXOXO I LOVE YOU!!!!!
