Oswald ..

My husband and I had to put our beloved Oswald down this morning. He went into heart failure. He joins his brother ,Otis. I know Otis met him and walked him over the Rainbow Bridge. Now,I need to be ready to help our grandchildren through this loss....especially Titus.
Oswald was almost 17 years old. So kind,a big heart. He "delivered " our cat's kittens..the mommy cat just "dropped them"..he chewed the sacs and licked them dry and slept in the Mommy box with the cat and kittens.  A wise ,loving dog. We will miss him so.

Loosing a pet is like loosing a child.
Sending you my best hugs to you and your family during this sad time. It does get easier......

Needless to say, this is why we haven't replaced our Maggie since she was put to sleep 20 yrs ago. It was too painful and we still miss her.

Love you, Ann. Take care.

Dearest Ann,
OMG!!! So sorry for your family's loss. Your work Oswald with Titus is so beautiful. Oh, he sure must have been a sweetheart♡♡♡ I have a couple of experiences losing my dogs and really hard to overcome...
Thinking about you and your grandchildren.

I have to head for my father, sorry for my short comment. (he is doing fine, just be with him to help him enhance his appetite)

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to Calf-sis, xoxo Miyako*

Oh honey, I am so sorry. Oswald's soul soars free and his spirit will always live on. I have never known a dog who lived 17 years. It is a testament to the love, nurturing and devotion you two shared. My heart is with you and your beautiful family. Hugging you tightly, Mina

Oh Ann, This just breaks my heart. Oswald sounds like he was a very special fur baby. To take care of those kittens just shows how special he was. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My dear Ann
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
I don't know what I will do when this happens to our boys. They are like our children and my heart will break.
I guess we just have to be thankful that they were with us as long as they were and feel that they were happy because we loved them so much.
So many animals are mistreated and abused and ignored. Again, sympathy my friend.
