Oh, Ann, I was wondering why the heck someone would hack into Facebook and now I "get it"- because an email list is like jacking a car. Wow. So you've been to London recently? ;) Cyber life can be pretty exciting. I see a book in all of this, "I Was Robbed at Gunpoint and Stranded in London But Never Left My House". You could seriously use this in your art. It could be the next "Griffon and Sabine".

Wow! All this, and world travel, too!
What won't some creeps do to hack and then hijack into people's personal info!
Incidentally, it never hurts to change up passwords every so often. We (PPS members, that is) used to belong to a certain ning group, and soon had to quit it because one of the people in that group had email hacked into, and that hacker started messing with our account and his!
Which is why I sign out when an account is not in active use, during the day or overnight--it discourages errant hacking.
And change passwords every so often.
Anyway, in order to keep the PPS ball rolling, we had to pull up stakes, call every automated email update from that ning spam, delete all, and change every password, as well as warn others more closely affiliated with that group how hackers may wander into unfamiliar territory and create havoc from person to person, or group to group!
Some people just don't know how to behave, I guess.
I've grown warier over the years due to problems like this one.
And it does no good to complain--who'd listen and correct such a bad problem, anyway?
So I recommend signing out more frequently and signing back in after taking breaks for a while. You never know how much info this person has been able to gain from that hacking! Or who they are, or where they are from, etc.
i like Nathalie Thompson's idea best--write that book, and use your artistic talent! I think you'd hit the high note with it!!

Yes,Ann.
I had the E-mail too.
What a silly attempt!!!
As always, I can't figure out well about the comment of your friends well, but Cyber world does have some risk! I had some false mails before pretending or using my followers' name.
Love and Lots of Hugs to you, xoxo Miyako*
