This is an altoid tin that I gesso'd,painted.distressed, stamped and collaged on. Photos ar of the front, back.inside and the ATC'S I made to got inside. Most are of our daing years!! Yes, that's me sitting on Stephen's 1948 Triumph motorcycle, which now belongs to my son..since Stepehn got a 1948 Harley 45.Funny that I drove a Triumph GT!!The inside did not scan well at all..on left is our wedding photo and on the right is a collage photo of us now...try and take a picture and upload later! Ok..the ATC photos did not scan well either..I'll take a photo of them and upload later also...they really scanned awful!!

Ann - this is cool! I have a bunch of these I need to alter! Thank you so much for your kind comments on my beaded heart page, I am glad that's done and I can get back to some mixed media. :) Marva

This is so great. I just bought a dozen cinnamon altoid tins to save the tins when the altoids are gone, because I want to try altering one. Did your tin front have a 3D embossed shape on it? Just wondering how to get rid of that, layer and layer the gesso or use stencil paste? Hammer flat? I wish I knew! :-))
