it has been 15 years since you died. I can still see you,lying in the hospital bed,Daddy lying next to you,holding you in his arms,Jan and I on the other side of the bed,Stephen at the foot. We watched and held you as you took you last breath...as your soul left your body and went to Heaven,to join your Mother,Father,sister and Brother. Part of daddy left with you..I know you watched as his heart could not bear to be without you.
You have been with me since then...stood by my side throughout everything I have faced as the kids grew..you were there when your great-grandchildren were born...you have been here to guide me and comfort me as no one else can.
I miss you every day.
One day,when it is my time..I will join you,Daddy,Jan and our baby Zeke..I will not be afraid as I know you will all be there with open arms.
As you always said..I was not born from your body,but from your heart. thank you for showing me..with love ,words and example..how to be a woman,wife,Mother,and Grandmother. You set the bar high...if I even am close,in your eyes....then it is good!!!

Big Hugs Ann. Your mom is beautiful.

Your mom was an attractive lady. I know how it is to miss a mother – mine passed away in 2002 and I always felt bad for living so far away from her – she lived in Paris. Luckily my cousin called me to tell me she was very sick, as mother never mentioned her health, so I could fly and be with her when she passed. It is true, you can always feel your mother and her love around you. Take care, hugs.
Your Mom was beautful! Such a sweet tribute to her!
Oh, Dearest Ann;
My husband asked me what happened to see tears in my eyes when I read your post.
My mother died year 2,000. And the situation of hers or ours facing her death were really close to what you wrote here. My father has not been himself since then even if I live quite close to him. I was reminded of how the couple meant.
I was SO moved your mother's words "I was not born from your body,but from your heart." Your parents look so sweet in the pictures.
And I DO hope my mom will be close to me when time comes, p;)
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to Calf-sis, xoxo Miyako*
How fortunate you are to have such wonderful memories to cherish.

A beautiful tribute to your mom. The wedding photo exudes happiness and shows how beautiful she is. So sorry for your loss.
Thanks for sharing the photos of your mother. The wedding photo is just lovely. I know that mothers live on forever because of all the love they give.
