So sad! I went for a drive today with my mom, in an area where I grew up and I couldn't believe all the farm land gone and forests too. I was thinking of all the beautiful deer and foxes we use to see. The red tail hawks. Smelling the harvest of the crops. Everything gone! When is this going to stop??
how sad you must have felt! i have always lived in a "city" but i love the openness of rural and country. I hate to see these the animals loosing their habitat. There are many area in California that have grown into the mountain/forest-y areas of California..where residents are seeing wild animals..it bothers me to think that something will happen to them just because humans are greedy and don't want to learn how to "safely co-exist". xo
