ok...so here goes the story...turned my computer on this morning figuring I could get into flickr since i had gotten in last night on my son's computer..he has a Google browser.Well,didn't work. First,thought about throwing my computer against the wall..not an option 'cause I can't afford a new one and I'd just be cutting my nose of to spite my face(as the old saying goes)..so I thought..what's different...DUH..GOOGLE BROWSER!!! So I googled(of course!) how to install google browser...followed directions..presto!!!!! ACSESS TO FLICKR!! Poo on you yahoo browser!!!

ok..computers annoy me AGAIN!!!!!

I have a flickr account on yahoo...participate in swaps that are on groups on flickr....I can sign on to Yahoo!..but not onto flickr!! when I click on to sign in,the page pops up,where it usually has the places to put my email address and password,but it is now a blank page!!! contacted yahoo..they sent me to att..they did what they could..no help..gave me another # to call...aaarrrggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I have no way to contact anyone that sent me swaps to thank them or anything else!! Yep, I'm pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my beautiful prize from Marie at Lost Bird Studio!! So gorgeous,so vintage and smells like lavender!!!First,it was wrapped in fabulous vintage fabric,wrapped with beautiful ribbon,tucked in the ribbon was a beautiful tag and a feather...oh,almost too pretty to unwrap! But,I did..the postcard image is done on satin and delicately aged on the edges!!Thank you Marie!! Such a treasure and I am overjoyed to have won it!!!!!

Today my Granddaughter is 6 years old! goodness,it just seems like yesterday that I spent 22 hours at my daughters beside,throughout the night,as she labored to deliver her...finally had a C-section.What an amzing site to see your grandchild lifted from your daughters body! She is a source of joy and delight.has a wicked sense of humor and has taught me the fine art of pouting! She has her Grandfather(my husband) wrapped around her little finger! she loves princess,ponies and Spongebob!!! Happy bithday darling!!

Well,here I am...

Cole comes home from the hospital...Happy Natal Anniversary Cole

feeling a bit more human today!! For the first time in 2 1/2 weeks I slept more than 4 hrs!!! Coughing seems better and I am breathing better. It's about time!! still tired,but that's to be expected. During all this time I've been sick my grandson had his 7th birthday,March 10th, and my son celebrated his 29th birthday,March 20th!(the above photo is from the day we brought him home from the hospital ). As I laid around coughing and feeling miserable I remember his birth 29 years ago. Seems like yesterday...worked an 8 hr 11pm-7am shift,went home and cleaned the carpets in my 2 story house,took a 2 hr nap then went to my baby shower(3 1/2 weeks till my due date)...got home at 11pm..went to bed..1 am woke my husband and said..shit,baby's on his way! The hospital was only 5 min away..it was where I worked as an RN in the neonatal intensive care unit. Pity I hadn't thought it through...since the labor couldn't be stopped,and he was butt first..C-section time!! Pre-term delivery...NICU team present! There I was in the OR..naked as the day I was born,the nurses I worked with stayed over to be there..ok,but the respiratory therapists were guys I worked with and of course,so was the Neonatologist!!! Enough said..one can have a total body blush!! Yes, I remember this completely!!! Since he was pre-term he also had jaundice and needed bililights..another good thing about working there..I didn't want to go home and leave him to be treated in the NICU..so the neonatologist was able to get bililights for me to use at home!!! ok..so we had to take him to the hospital 4 times a day for blood tests to check to be sure his bilirubin levels were going down,but that was fine by us!What a sight..this tiny baby,sleeping naked in a bassinet with his eyes covered getting phototherapy at home!! Yep, I remember this all like it was yesterday!! He's now almost 6 feet tall and the apple of my eye!  So,now that I'm feeling better I will be making my way to all your blogs over the next few days! I have missed you all and I thank you for all the kind words while I've been sick!  xo, Ann

to all for your kind words! I'm still sick with whatever this is! Having shortness of breath when I walk,coughing so hard I hurt my back and only sleeping 2-4 hours a night. I am exhausted. I miss you all and I hope to get enough energy soon to start visiting again. hugs,Ann

Sorry I haven't been visiting...............

I have been sick with a nasty cold/flu/?  that has kept me down for the past week. Still sick and very tired. It affected my asthma badly. Had to go on-line to email some paperwork,so I dropped in to let you all know that I'm not ignoring you! miss vsiting and when I'm feeling better,I'll stop by and leave a message on your blogs.
