(This should be printed and kept in your car, purse, and wallet. Good information to have with you.) There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it: FIRST   (Emergency) The Emergency Number worldwide for  Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out. SECOND   (Hidden  Battery   Power) Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time. THIRD   (How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone? ) To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your phone is stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.     And Finally.... FOURTH   (Free Directory Service for Cells) Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800) FREE411   or (800) 373-3411       without incurring any charge at all.  Program this into your cell phone now. As of 7:40 am.......

my house is quiet!!! Titus and Amelia are back in school and Eddie has gone to his very first day of pre-school!!! Mon.-Wed.-Fri. 8 am -11:30 am!!it has been over 8 years and 9 mos. since we have had a weekday without a grandchild here!! Bless my husbands heart..he was worried about Eddie taking the school bus today..he thought pre-school and alone on bus on the same day was asking too much!!!! ..so,grandpa took him!! Is that too cute or what?!! He will ,however,let Eddie come home on the bus!! so far,it is 10 am..and grandpa is holding up well!!!I will post a pic of our little Eddie and his backpack later!!! So, for now...aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

just wanted to say hello to all of you!!
trying to visit all your blogs..catching up slowly!!
my 3 grandchildren are here all the time..the youngest one's day hasn't had him for 2 weekends now and it doesn't look like he's interested in having him anymore. the oldest 2's father has made no contact in over 7 weeks.  No quiet weekends anymore!!! But,they have always lived with us and they know they are wanted and loved!
Knee is still swelling off and on and very painful..it's crappy!!!! No chance to stay off it as much as I'd like!
have many projects started.....now,if i just had time!!!
hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! looks like our heat is gone..very comfortable 80 degrees earlier!!

well..today is the first day where I've been able to sit up at the computer and start answering emails,visiting blogs and going to facebook! It's going to take me a bit to get to all of you..but get there I will!!! Have missed you all!
still have swelling and pain,but it is getting better!

oh  crap...just got on to tell everyone I haven't been ignoring you,only to find my stuff has made the permanent switch to the new blogger..HATE IT!!!!!!
anyway..took a fall down the stairs last Thursday..still have pain and swelling in my knee and leg..major bruising also. No breaks..just pain!  very uncomfortable to sit up to use computer for any length of time.
