HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the women and men who served or are serving in our military.
My father served in the Navy during WWII..he was welcomed home at the end of the war with a hero's welcome...thank you Daddy,I know you hear me in Heaven.
My husband served in Nam...I'm glad you made it out!!! He came home,not to a Hero's welcome,but to people who gave him a hard time...no help for the Nam vets like there was for other wars...maybe because it was called a "conflict" ? There is help now,but not when he came home. Well, THANK You Stephen..I am proud of you..and I love you.
My father and husband never got the day off while they were employed...government workers get it off,some never having served!!! Don't you think all who served should get the day off? I DO !!
However you celebrate the day..remember those who never came home..along with those who were lucky enough to!!!

They grow so fast..it just seems like yesterday I was in the delivery room when my 86 lb. 4'10" daughter pushed out 9 lb Titus....and just yesterday when I watched them perform a C-Section and raise Amelia Grace from her mother's anesthetized body(she was out cold because she was so scared and couldn't relax enough for a spinal!!). To see them born,hear their first cry and welcome them into the world was a privilege..to help raise them is a blessing!!!
So..I'm sharing my little blessings with all of you!!!
(It will be another 3 years before the last little blessing,Eddie, has a school photo to share!!)

New Paperdoll...............

not the best photo..had to use my phone camera...since I had to put in new harddrive..can't upload with my camera because I can't find the disk that came with it so cumputer recognizes it!!!
The dress is made from fan folded paper..has a 3-d "ish" effect. Used copper stickles glitter glue for buttons,which are hard to see!!! Oh well...at least I found a way to share this! My computer won't "read" my phone..so I emailed the pic to myself with the phone and downloaded it to my computer..where there is a will,there's a way!

FOUND A WAY TO GET THE SCANS HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still don't know how to get the photo's on my scanned documents page to add as attachments for emails..hopefully someone can tell me how to make them work as adobe readable !!! But, this is a start!!!
The first one is for a PID group swap...black and orange theme using a PID image! The other 2 are just because !!!!(I love the bloody eyes...yep..love dark and creepy and that sort of stuff!!!).

Can anyone help me figure out why..........

when I scan images to my computer they come up on paint and not a file that will open as the picture(so I can add the image to my blog) and why they don't come up in a form to open as a PDF file ?
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

OMG.............................

Llast Tuesday the hard drive on my laptop DIED!!! It took until last night to get my computer running and internet going. It was the week from HELL. My computer is a Dell..they were of ..little to no help, once I bought the hard drive and got the re-instillation cd's for my windows and drivers and utilities I wasn't sure which disk to put in first. When I called Dell they wanted me to pay $59.00 for the "technical support" to tell me which went in first..all because my computer warrenty is out(it's 6 years old)..can you believe that!!!! Caleed to find out where the COM port on my laptop was..same answer..$59.00 for the "technical support"!! Ok..by now I have been crying my eyes out for 3 days..everything gone..all my files,pictures,documents....EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER DOWNLOADED OR SCANNED FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS....GONE(including evey collage sheet,image,altered art item I have bought over 6 yrs..gone!!!). I had no idea I could back up on another device....NOW I KNOW!!!! Well, I called Microsoft...their tech support was marvelous..they took 3 days to figure it out...he even conference called ATT to explain my problem with the internet and what I needed(this was last night!!)...UP AND RUNNING!!!!!!!!!! Then, this morning..no internet. Back to ATT where the most wonderful tech.support got me back up and told me step by step what to do as I wrote it down. Seems that Dell computers ,along with a couple other brands, have 2 wireless support systems..their own plus windows,,did you know if you have this problem,you have to close the Dell(or other cumper brand) wireless and use the windows one? Know I do !!!
I ahve contacted some of thewebstores where I remember getting downloads and I have received responses from most of them already..they have gone above and beyond to help me:
wINK WINK WINK INK ,EweNMePrintables, Altered Pages,ArtChix,Piddix,TwoDancing Crows..IF YOU HAVE THE NEED FOR GOODIES PLEASE VISIT THEM AND TELL THEM I SENT YOU.
Also, Tangee Baxter at Scrapbookgraphics.com sent me a $20.00 gift certificate to use to help replace wht I lost from her. Since she know longer has her origional store she didn't have the files so,since she is now exclusively with Scrapbookgraphics she was so kind to do this...PLEASE VISIT HER ALSO AND TELL HER I SENT YOU !
Now, I have to find where I stored my down load disks for photoshop,my printer,camera,etc. AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, it could have been worse.....it could have been me or someone I loved who died.Guess I need to dry my tears over my losses and get on..end my pity party!!!
So, if you don't see any posts with pic's of creations...you know why!

I've been enjoying creating! My 3 grandkids have had colds..so between wiping snot,passing out juice and fever reducers I have had time,as you can see from my ATC's and paperdolls, to do some fun things. One of these days I hope to make some more cloth dolls..I love making them and I have tons of patterns !!
I've named the first MAUDE and the second CANDY KORN ! Silly,I know, but I'm in one of those moods( and enjoying it !!).

Good News.....and new "stuff" !!!!

life at home is improving! My daughter is doing better and seems to be "going forward in a healthy direction"...PRAISE GOD WHO MAKES ALL THINGS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sincere thanks and gratitude to all how have cared and prayed.
I have been able to "dabble and create" over the past week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is what I've made..I had so much fun doing them..Halloween is a favorite because there are so many creative ideas..cute,fun,spooky,scary,gross...love them all!
